When you haven't received your rent on time, it could be for a few reasons. 

Payment processing time

Depending on your bank, it can take a few days for payments to be processed. You'll need to allow up to 2-3 working days after your rent has been paid to allow it to clear into your account. 

Your tenant hasn't paid rent

Sometimes a tenant may be behind on payments which is why you haven't received any rent. Lodge has a notification process for when this happens, letting you and your tenant know that there is an overdue payment. 

If you still haven't received your rent after two weeks of receiving arrears notifications it's important to know what your options are. Lodge recommends that you get in direct contact with your tenant to rectify the issue. 

The bank details provided are incorrect

For Lodge to release collected rent into a Landlord account, you need to designate a bank account for us to forward the funds to. Check to see if these details are correct, if not, it's possible that the payment has failed due to incorrect details.
